Resetting the Demco Hijacker Autoslide to Center

If I offload my trailer in an odd position I cannot get the hitch to move back to a straight position

This happens with the Demco Hijacker, # DM8550038 when disconnecting at angle but no worries. This can be fixed by forcing it to back the opposite direction with a long pry bar, and maybe an extra person to help push/pull. The other option, not recommended over simply forcing it back, is to remove the head and adjust as needed, retorquing the bolt to 50 Foot Pounds.
