Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for RV with F-53 Chassis Towing Tow Dolly with a 2017 Ford Escape  

Question:

I have a 2002 Georgie Boy motorhome on a 2000 Ford F53 Chassis. I want to pull a tow dolly and a 2017 Ford Escape that weighs 2600 lbs. Can your recommend a Class III hitch 500# tongue that will bolt on? Can you recommend a Class IV hitch 1000# tongue that will fit?

The two highest rated trailer hitch receivers we have for RV's are both Class III hitches rated for 5,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 500 pounds of tongue weight.

Curt hitches # C13702 and # C13701 are adjustable and will fit RV frames from 18 inches to 51 inches wide. You'll need to measure to make sure they will fit your RV's frame. The major difference between them is the # C13701 has a 2 inch drop. Both can either be welded or bolted to the frame.
