Can New Spring Seat be Installed on Axle if Current Seats Don't Line Up

The 2,000 pound axle I order was correct but I forgot to measure the spring center measurement for the spring seat. I need to have them come in closer to the center so they line up with the notch on the leaf spring. Can I just buy two spring seats and weld them on the axle were I need them. And just leave the old ones were they are. Thanks

Yes you can weld new spring seats to your axle so that it matches your trailer frame if you ordered the wrong size. For 1-3/4 inch spring seats you would want the part # TRSS175 that you referenced.
