Do you have to remove the front bumper to install the front hitch? Or can I just remove the bottom bolt of the two per side holding the bumper? Can I install by myself???

The front bumper on your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 does NOT have to be removed to install Curt front receiver # C31017. I am sure that you can perform this installation. To see the steps you can look at the instructions I have linked for you.
