Newly Installed Trailer Connector Not Working on a 2013 Lexus LX 570
Question:
Hello. I purchased the harness from you guys, plugged it up, and nothing. I am not getting signal to any of the terminals on the plug. I have checked all fuses on the truck and none are blown. I am stumped. What am I doing wrong?

Hopkins trailer connector # HM11143910 is designed as a replacement for 2013 Lexus LX 570 models that came with a factory tow package and 7-Way connector. It sounds like yours did not come with the factory tow package or it is not connected in the right place and that would be why it isn't working. If you have it plugged into the connectors on the passenger's side of the vehicle then try plugging the harness into the same connectors on the driver's side. Or it could be that the dealer has to activate something in the computer for it to work but I can't verify that.
In order to add a functioning connector you can first install # 119250KIT which will provide a 4-Way flat connector. If that is all you need you can stop right there. But if you need a 7-Way I recommend # ETBC7. This will be a hardwire installation. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
