Size 185/70-14 is not a common trailer tire size. Unless it has ST in front of the size it is a passenger vehicle tire and should not be used on a trailer. ST stands for special trailer. The smallest 14 inch trailer tire size is ST205/75-14.

For a radial tire and wheel combo in this size with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern I recommend # AM32161. This set up is rated for 2200 pounds at 75 psi. I have included a link to a video review of this tire and wheel combo for you.

the P185 / 70R14 fits the trailer if the 205 / 75R14 you are talking about is 1" taller it will rub the inside fender well

@MichaelH When the trailer is under load, you'll want an absolute minimum of 3 inches between the fender and the top of the tire, with 1 inch of clearance between the inner sidewall and the trailer frame. If a 1 inch taller tire wouldn't provide that, you'll need to go down to a 13 inch tire/wheel.
