Camco and Valterra Trailer Tongue Jack Stand Material
Question:
What is the material of the Camco Trailer Tongue Jack Stand? What is the material of the Valterra Trailer Tongue Jack Stand - Red? It would seem the camco is plastic and the valterra is metal. Which would you recommend and why?

Expert Reply:
The Camco Trailer Tongue Jack Stand # CAM44635 is made of resin and the Valterra part # A10-0900 is also made of a plastic/resin.
Since the Valterra has a base that is about an inch wider in diameter that would be what I would go with if I were you since the wider the base the more stable it would be.
