Best Weight Distribution System for 2007 Fleetwood Utah

Question:

I have a 2007 Fleetwood Utah that has a side mounted tongue jack that I am looking to get a weight distributing hitch system for. The only system Ive found for this is the Reese 350 mini, which is no longer available. Is there another system that you recommend or should I consider replacing the side mount with a center mount jack to make my ion easier?

I recommend replacing your jack with a center mount like the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack w/ Removable Footplate # PSEA2000-14007. That will be your best option to get a weight distribution system on your trailer.

Once you have that settled you will need to find a weight distribution system appropriate for your 2007 Fleetwood Utah. The Fleetwood is a 3500 lb. trailer, so the loaded and ready to tow to tongue weight is likely to be 400 lbs. or less. So a weight distribution system I suggest for you is the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37040ET. With a max tongue weight of 400 lbs. it will work well with your trailer. In addition if you find that the cargo that is in the bed of your truck behind the rear axle combined with your tongue weight is higher than I recommend # EQ37060ET which is rated for a tongue weight of 600 lbs.

I've attached review videos of both the center mount jack and weight distribution system for you. As well as a Help Article titled "Common Weight Distribution and Sway Control Questions".
