To pick out the correct brake assemblies for your trailer you need to know a few things.
You will want to measure the inner diameter of your hub/drums and the depth of the drums to determine what brake assembly dimensions you need. For example the part # AKEBRK-6R that you referenced is a 12 inch by 2 inch thick brake assembly.
You also want to determine what the bolt pattern is of your assembly mounting flange. The standard size is 4 on 4 inch or 5 like the one you referenced. You also want to determine the axle capacity of your trailer and go with an assembly that has the same rating, the AKEBRK-6R is for 5,200 to 7k axles.
If you find an assembly that matches the dimensions and capacity you need it would not matter what brand you use.
If you need a different assembly check out the link to the right that I attached that shows all of the different assemblies we carry. You can select from the left facets to narrow down which ones would work.
