Troubleshooting Trailer Breakaway Switch Where Wiring Causes Light to be Yellow all the Time
Question:
I installed breakaway switch On trailer white to ground on trailer and To white trailer brakes feed blue to switch then to black feed to brakes the black connected to black feed from truck battery which is live when plugged to truck. The breakaway box has yellow light lite When push test button yellow stays lite before Before any. Connection press test and was green is it always on charge or is something wrong ?

I believe the problem is the connection of the switch on your breakaway. You said you went from blue brake output on the trailer to the blue wire of the switch and then on the other side of the switch you went to a black wire. You should have went to the blue wire of the battery box. The black wire of the battery box goes to the 12 volt power of the 7-way which is typically red.
