I'm assuming that you're wondering how much the leaf springs flatten out over time. Usually it won't vary by more than 1/2 inch or so, but there's a sure way to get an accurate measurement.
The best way to get an accurate length measurement for a leaf spring is to jack the trailer up so that the axle is hanging free. You can then get a center eye to center eye distance that'll be right on the money. By letting the axle hang, you'll be able to get a correct measurement.
