Looking for a Prodigy P2 wiring adapter for a 2016 Tacoma. You only list it as fitting through 2015. Thanks

If you have a factory 7-way connector at the back of your 2016 Tacoma the correct brake controller plug-in wiring adapter for your Tacooma is part # 3031-P.

This adapter is designed to work with the Tekonsha P2, part # 90885 and plugs into the port located under the dash.

If you do not have a factory 7-way connector there will be no port to plug an adapter into and you will need to first install a 4-way connector like part # C56349.

You will then need to install part # ETBC7. This plugs into the 4-way connector and you will need to connect the blue wire to the blue wire at the back of the brake controller. Then connect the white wire to a clean bare metal surface. You will also need to run the black power wire tot he positive battery post using a 40amp circuit breaker included with the # ETBC7.

When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
