Can 1 Set of Tie Downs be Used for 2 Kayaks on the Thule Stacker and 2015 Subaru Outback

Can I use 1 set of tie downs for 2 kayaks. I will be carrying them on a thule stacker on a 2015 Subaru Outback.

Expert Reply:
You will likely be able to use just one set of tie downs for 2 kayaks and the Thule Stacker # TH830. Ultimately though it depends on the length of the vehicle. Longer vehicles require longer tie down straps. But on your 2015 Subaru Outback I do not anticipate there being an issue. Especially if you use Hood Loops # MPG308.
If you do want to get another set of tie downs you can use # TH855XT.
