Only Found One Connector Under 2013 Ford Explorer to Install a Trailer Wiring Harness

My 2013 ford explorer only has 1 connection plug located under the rear panel on the passenger side but the quick and the vidoes im watching all show 2 connections what am i missing .thanks

According to my contact in the tech services department at Curt the mating connector that would normally plug into the other connector should be located near the one you found. You will need to remove the protective caps from each connector then plug the # C56172 in line between the two connectors. You would then have a functioning 4-pole connector.
If you cannot find the other connector then you will need to use a different wiring harness on your 2013 Ford Explorer such as the ZCI harness # 119250KIT.
