Will the Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack fit my 2013 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I am looking purchase a Swagman Trailhead bike rack S63360. I wanted to make sure it would fit my 2013 Toyota RAV4. I see it pictured on a 2015 RAV4. I also wondered about its weight as i will need to be able to put it on myself.

Yes, the Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack # S63360 is confirmed by Swagman to fit your 2013 Toyota RAV4. The Trailhead weighs around 30 lbs. and fits in 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. The rack can carry 70 lbs. total and 35 lbs. per bike. The rack does tilt away from the vehicle to allow trunk access when he rack is installed which is convenient when grabbing gear from the back.

Another great and economical 2 Bike Hitch-Mounted rack is the Thule Camber 2 # TH9058. This rack is confirmed to fit on your 2013 Toyota RAV4 and fits 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. This rack also weighs about 28 lbs. and tilts away from the vehicle to allow trunk access when the rack is installed. This rack is made from durable steel with a black powder coat finish to resist rusting and is made to last many years.

If you are carrying any women's children's or alternative framed bikes without the top horizontal crosstube, you may want to consider a bike adapter bar similar to # TH982XT to make loading bikes easier.

If you are needing a hitch, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III # C13149. This hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and is easy to install, bolt on only, no welding required. This hitch will fit with the Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack # S63360 and the complete hardware kit is included.

I have attached an installation video of the Curt Hitch on a 2013 Toyota RAV4, a review video of the Thule Roadway on a 2013 Toyota RAV4, a review video of the bike adapter bar, and a review video of the Swagman Trailhead on a 2015 Toyota RAV4 you may want to check out.
