I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. Extended cab 8 foot bed. Im trying to install my hitch in. Wondering if there are and measurements you could give me for installation

I have attached the installation instructions for the universal base rail installation kit, part # RP30035 you can check out. These is the rail kit that will work with your # RP30928 fifth wheel hitch.
When measuring where to place the base rail, you will need to measure 29-3/4 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed(bed liner and tail gate not included) forward. That is where the rear edge of the first base rail is placed. You will then need to use the fifth wheel base to place the second base rail. The base rails are center side to side in the truck bed.
