Weight Distribution System Recommendation for a Pontoon Boat Trailer with 500 lbs Tongue Weight
Question:
I have a pontoon trailer that is a narrow axle scissor that fits between the pontoons. I plan to tow it with my 1996 E150 van. What do you recommend for weight distribution and sway control. The pontoon is 24 feet long and has 500lbs tongue weight.

For a weight distribution system I would recommend the # RP66541 as it has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs which would be perfect for your 500 lbs of tongue weight.
Since you have a boat trailer that is going to have a pole tongue style trailer frame you are going to need to use a pole-tongue adapter part # RP3280 to provide the attachment point for the spring bars of the WD system.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
Before you back the trailer down the boat ramp you would want to disconnect the spring bars.
