Troubleshooting Hard to Thread Install Bolts for a Hitch on a 2012 Kia Sorento
Question:
We got our hitch in and cant get the bolts in what so ever. I read on your site that we will put in a 10 mm bolt. But at the top of the bolts you supplied it says 10.9 Are the ones you supplied wrong?

Before we determine that you have the wrong size install bolts you need to make sure that the bolts not fitting isn't due to the weld nuts of your vehicle being dirty/corroded and that is why they won't fit.
Typically on vehicles that have seen a few winters the weldnuts can be a bit dirty/corroded so bolts will not just thread right into them. Check out the links I attached that detail how to clean the weld nuts.
The 10.9 on the bolt head is not the size of it.
