Replacement Brake Assembly Recommendation for a 2006 Fleetwood Mallard Trailer

Im looking to replace the trailer brakes on a Quality axle trailer. Its a 2006 Fleetwood Mallard. The shoes are 10X2 1/4 and the manual that came with the trailer says replacement shoe part number is BSL10E. The bolts on the back appear to be 2 7/8 apart with four bolts. What brake assemblies will fit?

Sounds like you have standard 10 inch brake assemblies on your trailer. The part # AKEBRK-35L would work for the left hand side and part # AKEBRK-35R would work for the right hand side.

These are both the same size as what you have and have the same 4 bolt mounting flange.

Best option is to match the part number you found on your trailer. Realistically the 6k and 7k brake assemblies are mostly interchangeable as they both are 12 inch diameter by 2 inch width so either would technically fit, but going with the correct…
