Vertical Dimension of Equalizer Shank EQ90-02-4900

Question:

I would like to know the dimension from the top of the shank to the very bottom hole. I have a Blue Ox Swaypro hitch and my previous truck was a 1500, now have a 2500 with a 2 1/2 inch receiver and I need more than my existing shank.

For the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank # EQ90-02-4900 the distance from the top surface of the shank down to the center of the bottom hole is 9-3/4-inches. I verified this measurement with my contact at Equal-i-zer and it is shown on the linked photo.

The Equalizer Shank part #EQ90-02-4900 that you referenced measures 11-1/2 inches from the top of the shank down to the very bottom of the shank. Overall length is 13 inches, from hitch pin hole to end of the shank measure 9-3/4 inches.

The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank part #EQ90-02-4900 will work just fine with a Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System and it has a 2-1/2" shank so as long as the drop of 6" is enough this will be the perfect option.
