Will the Equalizer Weight Distribution Shanks work With Other Brand Weight Distribution Systems
Question:
Will this work on my Pro Eagel weight disabution hitch and give me 6inch I now use a 7inch in my 01 ram but its a 2x2 shank and my new truck is A 2016 2500 Ram with 2 1/2 Shank. This would work using the reducer that came with the truck but I dont feel thats a good ideal. Im pulling a 10,000 GVW 29foot long. What is you opinion

Most weight distribution companies make the heads of their systems so that they can fit other brand shanks. What you will need to do is measure the holes of your current shank. If they are 3/4 inch in diameter and are spaced 1-1/4 inches apart on center then the Equalizer Shank part # EQ90-02-4900 would fit and work with your system.
