Tire Chains for 265/70R17 Size Tires on 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe

Looking for emergency chairs for a 2005 Chevy 2 wheel drive Tahoe with 265/70R17 tires. Chevy says no chairs for this truck tire combo. Was wondering if this would work: Titan Chain Snow Tires.

I found the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe owner's manual to state that tire chains should not be used with P265/70R17 tires because there is not enough clearance for the chains to avoid components such as the brakes or suspension.

If you decide to use chains in order to comply with local laws, the Titan Chain Snow Tires, # TC2228CAM that you referenced are confirmed to fit the 265/70-17 size tires on your Tahoe.

We have a similar set of Titan twist link tire chains that fit your tire size of 265/75-16 with the part #TC2228 but the size you mentioned would not fit so you would not want to go with them.
