5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for an Under Bed Mounted Gooseneck Trailer Hitch on a Ford F-250
Question:
I have a turnover ball gooseneck mounted on my F250. I don't know what manufacturer made the hitch. I found a number 62104 on the hitch but not name. Will the Curt X-5 #16310 work with this, or what else can I do to determine the manufacturer?

I did some research on that part number as it might apply to a gooseneck hitch. One website I came across listed 62104 as a Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose under bed gooseneck hitch. If it is a Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose, then the Curt X-5, # 16310, will not fit. If you want to add a 5th wheel trailer hitch, you can use the Hi-Rise Gooseneck to Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch, # 9480. This 5th wheel trailer hitch fits B and W Turnover Balls, Hide-A-Goose from Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, or Reese, and Bulldog Under-Bed hitches.
If your gooseneck hitch specifically uses the Turnover Ball name, then it is made by B and W. Other than any documentation like an owners manual or instructions that would state the manufacturer on it, you may have to go beneath the bed of your Ford F-250 in order to find more information on the hitch. If you bought the truck used the previous owner may have the information.
If you find that it is a B and W and it is a square shank Turnover Ball hitch, then the Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter for B and W Square Shank Turnover Ball Hitches, # 16310, will fit. I have included a link to the installation details below.
