Trailer Coupler Latch Lock for a 2-1/2 Inch Wide Latch
Question:
please forgive me if I have already ask this ? I have a ufp style coupler with a 2.5 in. width outside_ outside you show in the picture my style coupler . will the e98887 lock with the 2.5 span work on my coupler, thanks

Our etrailer.com coupler lock # e98887 is designed to work on a coupler width up to 2-1/2 inches. Since that is what you have on your coupler, this lock will fit and it will be a nice snug fit, which is by design.
For a second option I recommend the Bulldog adjustable coupler lock # BD580410. It has a useable span of 3/4 of an inch up to 2-7/8 inches which will allow for a little more wiggle room if that is something you want. I have included links to videos on both locks for you.
