Replacement Hub for a 3/4 Inch Diameter Straight Spindle

Question:

I have a boat trailer that has a 3/4 spindle. I need a 4 lug hub to fit, the spindle is straight. Now it has a rim that fits the spindle with the bearings as part of the rim. Would like to use a hub and bolt the rim to the hub. Tire size is 4.80 - 8

The only hub we have that is associated with a 3/4 inch spindle is # AH15450ECOMP. This is an agricultural hub that takes inner bearing # LM67048 and outer bearing # LM11949. But the spindle it fits on is not straight, it is tapered, # TRU54FR.

If this is a kit trailer then in order to replace the hubs, wheels, and tires you are going to have to replace the axle. I have included a link to the right to the straight axles and the axle-less systems that we have. The axle-less systems may be the best option for you since they are the "axle" and suspension all in one.

I have the same situation as described above. Do these hubs for a 3/4 inch straight spindle not exist? Also, could I get some links to help me explore my options? Thanks!

The hub that Michael mentioned is literally the only hub we have that even uses a bearing that would fit your 3/4" diameter spindle. You probably have a trailer with a pretty old axle which is why you're having trouble finding a replacement. Your best bet is to replace your whole axle to be honest. Here is a link to our selection of trailers. If you want to go this route let me know and I can help you look for one that will be compatible.

@JonG .. yes, the axle is very old. Center of tire to center of tire is 44 inches. What measurements do I need to determine which axle to get? Leaf springs and hubs included is a bonus, FYI.

@Todd It sounds like you have a much shorter axle than what we have but here is a link to one of our expert pages that shows how to pick out a replacement. If none of ours have similar dimensions then you'll need to have a trailer shop order you one that will work with your trailer.
