Im considering the new GM OEM underbed hitch platform that will take both a gooseneck ball and a fifth wheel. As there is little information available online Im wondering which 5er hitches or hitch adapters will fit.

If you want to equip a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 6-1/2-foot-bed pickup for both gooseneck and 5th wheel towing then I suggest you consider the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck/5th Wheel Installation kit # BWGNRK1016. This kit by itself serves as a complete gooseneck hitch system. When you need the bed empty for cargo the entire hitch can be removed for full access.

When you want to do 5th wheel towing all you need to do is insert the matching Companion 5th wheel hitch, either part # BWRVK3500 for a 20K fixed hitch or part # BWRVK3400 for an 20K-rated slider. With this set-up you would not need to use any adapters or other components. All you need to add to the truck is a wiring harness, part # C56000, that will plug in inline with a factory wiring harness.
