Each of the four individual lights included in the Westin LED Light Kit for Sure-Grip Running Boards # 27-6000 will connect to its included harness. The harness will make its main power connection to the vehicle circuit that controls the interior dome lights. This will let the running board lights turn on automatically when you open the doors.
If your Grand Cherokee has a separate fuse for its interior/dome lights, you can use a fuse tap # F2526 in order to use that circuit to control the lights. The fuse tap will plug in where the fuse was and will give you a power signal for the harness.
If not, you can try removing the dome light to see the color of its wiring (and trace it back to a convenient access point) or you can use a tester like # PTW2993 to find the wire that carries the dome light's power and splice into that wire for an activation signal for your running board lights. The linked video shows how to use the tester.
If you prefer you can install a 12V power switch like # D16740 to control the lights manually.
