Motor Availability for the Bulldog Landing Gear Jacks BD500162
Question:
Purchased from etrailer.com landing gear bd500161. Did not realize this was a manual system. I called to see about motor. Refereed to Atwood and their motor 75391. I called Atwood and they could not guarantee motor would fit BD500161. So, can you guarantee the Atwood motor and gear box 75054sp will work on the landing gear purchased Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Bulldog and he said that he has heard of people using the landing gear motor part # 75391 with the Bulldog jacks part # BD500162 that you referenced. But since they have not fully tested this they can't guarantee it will work just fine.
However, we had a customer come back and leave a review saying they used this motor with this jack set and it worked well. My contact at Bulldog said that this jack set was originally designed for a trailer manufacturer that was putting their own motors on the jacks. Most likely it was an Atwood motor.
