Hitch Cargo Carrier Recommendation To Clear Past Lowered Tailgate of 2015 Ford F-150
Question:
Looking for trailer hitch carrier that will allow my tailgate on a 2015 Ford F150 Supercrew 4x4. The distance from the top inside edge of the 2inch receiver to the tailgate in the open position is 7-1/2. Thanks.

Sounds like you are looking for a hitch mounted cargo carrier that will extend past the tailgate of your 2015 Ford F-150 when it is down.
The Reese Cargo Carrier part # 63153 should work well for you. It has a distance of 12-3/4 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest rail of the carrier. I know you measured from the edge of the hitch, but to know exactly where this carrier will set relative to the tailgate you will need to measure from the hitch pin hole.
Most likely the distance will be around 9-10 inches so since this carrier has 12-3/4 inches it should still work great.
