Hitch Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2013 Jeep Wrangler that Allows Rear Door to Open

With the carrier empty, is there enough clearance for the tailgate to open?

I have a solution for you, but when we test fit the Pro Series Cargo Carrier part # 63153 on a similar Wrangler as yours we found that it was too tall to allow the rear door to open.
Instead I would recommend the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18145 as it will clear the spare. Check out the review video I attached to see that it allow the spare to open.
