Thank you for your purchase of the Tow Ready 7-Way wiring harness # 118266 which is a correct fit for your 2015 Nissan Frontier without the factory trailer connector. This kit includes both the plug-in 7-way vehicle socket and a second harness that takes the included relays which activate the tow package wiring; this mounts behind the passenger kick panel. The linked video shows the installation process for both parts of the kit.
Check that your relays are fully-seated on the harness. They should emit an audible click sound when fully inserted into the harness. The 12-pin white connector on the harness also must be fully seated to the matching plug on the passenger side. If none of the lighting functions on the 7-way are working then chances are that either one of the relays or the harness itself is not making full contact. It could also be that the round connector at the back of the 7-way is not completely inserted.
Also check the engine compartment fuse panel for any fuse locations marked trailer/towing and install or replace a correct-value fuse as needed.
If you have a circuit tester like # PTW2993 you can have a helper activate the lighting functions in the truck while you apply the tester to the appropriate contacts. This will tell you if the signals are reaching the trailer socket. The linked video will show you how to use the tester and the photo of a 7-way will show you which signal should appear on each of the contacts. You'll apply the tester's ground wire to the pin at the 7-o-clock position (as you look at the 7-way) and then one by one apply the probe to the contacts for each circuit as your helper activates that function.
