To use the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit # FHDPW230300 on a trailer frame that is 2 by 2 inch will require a 1 inch spacer get welded to the trailer frame by a qualified fabricator to take up the 1 inch of space since this is designed for a 2 by 3 trailer frame.

The overall length of the Fulton hinge kit part #FHDPW330300 is 7-1/2 inches. You should note that since this slips over the frame channels it does not add this length to the tongue of the trailer.
