7-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2006 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
I do not see any 7pin trailer harness kits for a 2006 Ridgeline. It looks like the Honda Pilot kits could work. Something like Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring - 56097. Ive looked at the OEM harness P/N 08L91-SJC-100B and it doesnt seem to include the control unit and harness for up in the dash. Can you steer me in the right direction?

You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 118400.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
If you don't need a brake controller instead of the ETBC7 and the 90885 you would want the part # 37185.
