Based on what information I could find about AL-KO 8490 hub and drums, it is rated for 3,500 pound axles, has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, and is a 10 by 2-1/4 inch drum. If this is the case, we have several options for you. I have attached a link to all of our 10 by 2-1/4 inch, 5 on 4-1/2 hub and drum assemblies for 3,500 pound axles.

I recommend the etrailer.com Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K. This hub and drum uses # L68149 inner bearing and # L44649 outer bearings. If you can let me know the inner and outer bearing numbers your existing hub uses, as well as the wheel bolt pattern, I will be happy to make a more specific recommendation or confirm that this hub will fit.

For brakes on the 10 x 2-1/4 inch drum on your Hayes/AL-KO axle, I recommend # AKEBRK-35-SA for new brakes. These are self adjusting brakes so once they're adjusted when you first install them you won't have to do it again.

The 5 on 4-3/4 inch bolt pattern is an older style and we do carry brake hub/drums in that pattern. I've attached a link to assist. The AL-KO hubs you referenced are for 3,500 lb capacity so any of the attached page drums will work as a replacement. The closest to your AL-KO brand is the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-3/4 # 845476UC3.
