Availability of Trailer Tire Size 4.80/4.00-8 Highest Weight Capacity
Question:
Hi, I have a 3-rail motorcycle trailer which comes with 4.8-8 4.80/4.00-8 size tires on a 4 lug and noticed the tires out there in that size are mostly 4 ply which has a lower speed rating. Do you have a tire size that will work that will allow me to tow it at 60-65mph? One that will also allow for more weight? Thanks.

The best option we have for your motorcycle trailer would be the part # AM10004 that is sized 4.80/4.00-8, is rated for 65 miles per hour, and has a load capacity of 745 lbs at 90 psi.
With trailer tires you want to have them inflated to their max PSI to ensure you get the full capacity.
