Recommended Sidewind Bolt-On Trailer Jack For 2,800 Lb Trailer

Question:

I am looking for a trailer jack - side frame mount - bolt-on - sidewind. I measured my frame dimensions. It is 2 inches wide by 3 inches tall. The tongue weight of my trailer is 380 lbs. The total weight of my trailer is 2800 lbs. I would prefer a jack with a foot rather than wheels. I want to spread the weight out a bit better for camping on muddy ground so I thought a foot would be better. I currently have a jack with a wheel and find that the tongue is too heavy to make the wheel useful. Can you recommend some products? Thank you.

Thanks for all of the information you provided. It really helps when we make a recommendation that will work best for you.

Based on the information you gave I recommend the etrailer Square, Fixed-Mount Marine Jack, part # MJSQ-2500B. This jack has a weight capacity of 2,500 lbs.

Another jack I recommend is the Dutton-Lainson Bolt-On, Drop Leg Trailer Jack, part # DL22320. This also has a 2,500 lb weight capacity.
