What are the external dimensions of the square portion of the body? I plan to use this to fabricate a hitch for my EZ Go ST cart.

The outside dimensions of the Combo Bar 12" with 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-912 are 1-5/8 inch by 1-5/8 inch. The internal dimensions are 1-1/4 by 1-1/4 inch.
