Folding Adapter Recommendation for Curt Cargo Carrier for Storage Use Only
Question:
hi.i have read your post on using a folding 2in cargo carrier adapter with the Curt C18150 cargo carrier on a 2012 chrysler town and country. is it possible to use one of these if the vehicle is going to be parked. id like to fold this up when i go to places that have small parking lots or when i stay at hotels .ive had the cargo carrier hit already once in a parking lot.i wouldet be using the adapter when driving or hauling cargo. thank you.

The Surco Folding Basket Adapter is for 2" hitches # 52015 and works directly with the Cargo Carrier part # C18150 and the folding adapter part # 52015 would work well together. These have been confirmed to work together. If you are using this in an unconventional manner of some kind, then I would certainly only do it when parked.
We do know that the two product will work together.
