SMI AIR FORCE ONE 115 braking system: On the units you are selling, what are the dimensions of the box? Want to make sure you have the new slim box design.

The SMI Air Force One models we have in stock, # SM99243, are indeed the new AFO115 models and not the old, larger AFO108 models.

The overall length is 10-1/2 inches from handle to handle but the actual box part is 8-1/2 inches. It is 5-3/8 inches wide and 1-1/4 inches tall.

Yes, the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System #DM55MV does draw from the towed vehicle battery. Installing a charge wire for the battery would be a good choice like with the part #RM-156-25 to keep the battery topped off.
