Does the Air Force One Activate the Towed Vehicles Brakes When the Exhaust Brake Is Used

Question:

I have a winnebago 2014 36m dp towing a 2016 kia soul with blue ox system installed. First question is operation when using the exhaust brake. I read some comments about the brake lights on the mh coming on when the exhaust brake comes on and causing the toad to brake and being an issue. Any comments on that since i use the exhaust brake all the time . Also i live in Harrisburg pa. Anyone near me that does these installs? Not sure i want to attempt the installation

The Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99243 is actually the perfect solution for you since it does not engage the brakes on your toad when the brake lights on your coach are lit; it instead relies on the the coach's air brakes to be activated and will prevent false braking that occurs with other systems that react to the brake light signals. Because of this, when you use the exhaust brake instead of the coach's air brakes, it will not create a situation where the toad's brakes are activated-regardless of whether or not the coach's brake lights are on.
