Can a 2008 Jeep Wrangler be flat Towed Behind a Motor Home Using HighRock Bumper
Question:
Can you tow a jeep behind a RV with this bumper?

The Bestop HighRock bumper # B4491001 is not designed to be used to flat tow the vehicle. There are some aftermarket bumpers that do have this ability but we do not carry them. For example if you had a Smittybilt XRC Atlas bumper you could use a Blue Ox adapter # BX88357 to connect a tow bar.
The most popular compatible tow bar is the Alpha, # BX7380. It is rated for 6,500 pounds and comes with safety cables. For lighting I recommend the bulb and socket kit # RM-155. Check your owners manual because it also appears that the battery has to be disconnected to flat tow the 2008 Wrangler.
For this I recommend quick battery disconnect kit # DW05312 which makes disconnecting the battery easier.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the preferred systems for our installers is the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO proportional system, # SM99251. It will apply the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
