Replacement Wheel/Tires for 1989 EZ Loader Trailer
Question:
Replaceing tirers and rims on 1989 EZ loader GW 10720. Would like to know if I can use Karrier st235/85R16. There 71.5inch rims on there now.

I'm not certain what you mean about 71.5 rims. Are you speaking of the outside diameter of the tire in centimeters?
If that's the case, the Karrier # AM32764 measures 31.61 inches in diameter, which would be 3-1/2 inches larger in diameter than the tires you're currently using. This will place your tires about 1-3/4 inches closer to the fenders which could cause you to bottom out. You typically want to see at least three inches of clearance between the top of the tire and the underside of the fender.
If this won't cause a problem, if the existing wheels have a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern and if the 3640 lb weight capacity of each tire would add equal to or greater than the weight of the trailer, the # AM32764 wheel/tire combo would be a good choice.
