Will the Thule T2 Platform Bike Rack TH9045 Fit a 2010 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Will the Thule T2 fit a 2010 RAV4 Limited. It has the tire on the back and was not sure and the back door opens to the right and not up like most suvs. It looks like the T2 is one of the best hitch mounted bike carriers out there for stability and reliability. Just let me know as I would like to order if it works for the 2010 RAV4 thanks,

The Thule T2 # TH9045 should fit your 2010 RAV4. However, since the rear door swings to the right instead of up, I do not think you would be able to open the door with bikes on the rack. You would need to take them off and fold the uprights down.
In order to be sure it will clear the spare tire you will need to take a measurement. The Thule T2 measures 18 inches from the hitch pin hole when folding up towards the vehicle. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight out. Use a straight edge like a yard stick to measure how far out the spare tire sticks from the hitch pin hole. As long as this measurement is less than 18 inches you will be able to fold the carrier.

I have a 2012 Toyota RAV4. I am interested in the Thule T2 platform bike rack. I realize the door would not open completely. But would it open a little bit to allow access to the cargo area?
