None of the trunk-mount bike racks we offer allow you to operate the rear hatch or trunk when attached.

If access to the rear hatch is really important I recommend installing a trailer hitch and then a hitch-mounted bike carrier that tilts to allow access to the rear cargo area.

I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C13135. This is a Class lll hitch and it has a 2 inch receiver opening. I have attached a link to an installation video you can take a look at.

A nice hitch-mount bike rack I recommend is the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Rack, part # S63360. This carrier will tilt when empty to allow access to the rear cargo area. I have attached a product review video for this carrier you can check out.

If you wish to use a trunk mount carrier I recommend part # HRF2. This rack is designed for SUVs, minivans, and hatchbacks with spoilers. I have attached a link to a product review video.

Carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
