The towing weight capacity of your new truck will depend on the equipment you have installed. The 2015 Ford F-250 has a GCWR between 19,000 and 23,500 lbs, depending on the equipment your truck has. GCWR is the combined weight of your vehicle with cargo and passengers added to the weight of the fully-loaded-ready-to-tow trailer.

From my research I found that a 40 ft Sierra trailer weighs about 11,500 lbs dry weight.

I found there are 2 length beds available for the 2015 F-250. Some trailers will make it tough for a shorter bed truck to be able to make 90 degree turns. I have attached a helpful article that explains how to measure to make sure you have the right setup needed to execute sharp turns. Short bed trucks either need sliding fifth wheel hitches or a fixed fifth wheel and a Sidewinder pin box on the trailer. That enables you to make those 90 degree turns.

Adding an Air Spring or Rubber Enhancement Springs to the suspension of your vehicle will provide a more stable, smoother ride and will provide additional support, but will not increase the towing capacity of your vehicle.

Towing a trailer that is close to the truck towing capacity would be an ideal candidate for suspension enhancement. It would help increase the life of the vehicle suspension by absorbing some of the stress on the vehicle when hitting those rough places in the road.

If you want to let me know what the model, bed length, and if you have the towing package added to your new truck is I can make some recommendations that will work for you. Also let me know if you are getting 2WD or 4WD on your truck.
