I am looking for a carrier for a spare tire that will swing away mounted for reese hitch , 2 inch reseiver. this is for a ford escape

We do offer a range of different types of trailer spare tire carriers including hitch-mount types that can be seen on the included link. Among the hitch-mount type we have two items but none is a swing-away type. All of the hitch-mount spare tire carriers we have are fixed types such as the Curt # C31006. These both fit 2-inch hitch receivers.

Yep. The etrailer #e98ZR will work just fine with a 225/75R16 tire as long as you have the 6 lug bolt pattern. If you have the larger 8 lug bolt pattern you'd need something a bit more heavy duty like the #RM-195225.
