Replacement Tire And Wheel Options For 12 Ft Pop-Up Camper

Question:

I could use 2-3 trailer tires. Size 5.30 x 12. I have 1 wheel. Do you suggest I buy 3 new with tire and wheel or have the one wheel mounted with your tire. Its for a 12 foot pop up camper that I need to haul from north GA to Montgomery county Mo. Thank you for your help. Can radial tires be substituted? So I could haul at 70 mph rather than the 65 mph ST rating.

Radial tires would work well on the highway. A radial tire flexes more than a bias tire, giving it better ground contact, traction, stability, and tread wear. A bias ply tire has a stiffer sidewall than a radial, a feature that might be useful for off road applications like farm use.

We offer 12 inch radial tire/wheel combos that would work for you. You will need to know the bolt pattern to make sure you get the correct combos. I have attached a helpful article that explains how to measure the bolt pattern for your wheel you can check out. I have also attached a link to our product page for the 12 inch tire/wheel combos we have available.

We do have a radial tire that would work for you, part # TT53012C.

If you prefer to order the wheels and tires separate I have attached a link to the 12 inch wheels we offer you can check out. If you have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern I recommend a wheel like part # AM20132. This is a 4 inch wide rim and is made of powder coated steel. For a 4 on 4 bolt pattern I recommend a wheel like part # AM20140.

I have attached a helpful article that explains trailer tires.
