I bought a trailer connector kit ETBC7 and noticed the markings on the plug do not match those shown on a wiring diagram on your website. Which is correct?

I understand your confusion. The views of the trailer connector shown on the wiring page on the website are from the INSIDE of the plug, where you would wire it. The markings on the front cover do show which terminal serves which function, and are a mirror image of the terminals on the rear of the plug.
