Installing Curt 7-Way C57186 to 2007 Dodge Ram With Factory 4-Flat
Question:
I purchased the C 57186 adapter for 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. I also got the adapter to connect the Curt brake controller I got to the plug under the dash. How do I wire the C 57186 to the truck as the instructions are for if you do not have the plug under the dash?

Since you mentioned you already have the plug under the dash but not a 7-way, I am going to assume your 2007 Dodge Ram has the factory 4-way. If that is the case, you just need to plug in the 4-way and connect the blue brake wire to the Curt Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # C57186.
The blue brake wire is often located under the driver's side of the vehicle, right behind the front wheel well, and I have linked a help article below which details exactly what you need to look for; just scroll down a bit to where it says "Factory Installed 4-Pole" which has the instructions.
