Recommended Weight Distribution Solution for V-Nose Trailer

Question:

Hello, I have a 20foot Lark V Nose trailer. the length of exposed tongue/trailer frame is limited to approx 28inch from center of ball to V-Nose/Trailer wall. I purchased a EAZ Lift 1000 lb weight distribution hitch, but the tension bars are too long. The frame saddle that attaches to chains cannot be mounted properly. The exposed frame is short by about 4. Are any of the other brands you carry compatible with my V-Nose set up? If not, other recommendations? thanks.

We may have something that will allow you to install a weight distribution system on your V-nosed trailer. The bolt-on chain hangers, part # RP58305, provide an attachment point for your weight-distribution spring bars without interfering with trailer-frame-mounted items. They are specially designed to eliminate clearance problems by attaching to the side of trailer tongue. However Reese has not tested these parts together and combining parts from different manufacturers may void the warranty.

I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to check out.

I attached a FAQ article on weight distribution systems for you to check out as well.
